Meysey Hampton lies in the south of the Cotswolds and is approximately 30 miles (48 km) to the south-east of Gloucester. The village has a rich history dating back to the Roman times. One of its notable landmarks is St. Mary's Church, which dates back to the 12th century. The church is a beautiful example of Norman architecture and features a number of interesting features, including a 14th-century font and a 15th-century pulpit. Another popular attraction is the village pub, The Masons Arms. The pub is a traditional English pub and serves a range of local beers and ciders, as well as a selection of pub food. The pub is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, and is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink after a day of exploring the village and surrounding countryside.

The village picnic is a chance for everyone in the village to get together. Bring your blanket and a chair (and possibly an umbrella!). The Masons will be putting on a hog roast and the bar will be open. See you there!
